Family Members Resume Search For Missing Fitchburg Boy
FITCHBURG, Mass. (AP) — The search for a missing 5-year-old Fitchburg boy is resuming.
Family members of Jeremiah Oliver as well as volunteers are scheduled to gather near the family home on Saturday morning to conduct a new search.
Miguel Fleitas, a U.S. Navy Reservist with a background in conducting search-and-rescue training, is organizing the search that he says will include rescue dogs.
He tells The Sentinel and Enterprise the goal is to search areas of the city that have not been covered before.
Jeremiah has not been seen by relatives since September, but police only recently learned of the disappearance. He is feared dead.

Jeremiah's mother, Elsa Oliver, and her boyfriend, Alberto Sierra Jr., have pleaded not guilty to child endangerment, abuse and other charges. Both are being held.
