Falling Rocks Kill A Man In Peabody

PEABODY (CBS) -- A man died in Peabody Monday afternoon after some large rocks fell on him while he was in his own yard, officials said.

According to the District Attorney, the 76-year-old was doing yard work when a retaining wall gave way and the rocks fell down.

Peabody Police and first responders were called to the scene and could be seen trying to use machinery to get the rocks off the man.
