Fall River Police Officers Help Fix Woman's Flat Tire In Rain

FALL RIVER (CBS) -- Two Fall River police officers helped fix an elderly woman's flat tire in the rain on Wednesday, according to a former city councilor.

Police worked on the woman's car in the Globe Street area.

"I took a walk over to where the officers were and then noticed that they were actually changing the tire of a car that belonged to an elderly Portuguese woman who disabled her vehicle after being blinded by the crazy amount of rain," says Paul DaSilva on his Facebook page.

DaSilva said he was thankful the officers "went above and beyond the call of duty" helping the woman.
