Envelope Full Of Money Left At Hingham Restaurant--Again

HINGHAM (CBS) -- Police are searching for the person who left an envelope full of money at a Derby Street restaurant earlier this month.

Police wouldn't mention details--like the specific restaurant where the envelope was left, or the amount of money inside. They are simply asking that anyone with any information about the money step forward.

It's the second time in two years that something like this has happened at the Derby Street Shoppes. In 2014, a man left an envelope containing nearly $2,500 on the counter at White's Bakery. Police broadcast his description, as the whole interaction was caught by surveillance cameras, but nobody stepped forward. After nearly a year, they gave the money to the employee, a college student, who first reported finding the money to her boss.
