CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CBS) – Certain 100-calorie packs of Emerald cashews are being recalled nationwide because they could contain small glass pieces.

The recalled Emerald 100 Calorie Pack Roasted & Salted Cashew Halves & Pieces, made by Snyder's-Lance, Inc., have best before dates in December 2016.

No injuries have been reported yet, but the glass pieces could cause injury. The company says it's likely that the glass came from one of the cashew suppliers.

"We are taking this action out of an abundance of caution after receiving a consumer complaint," Snyder's-Lance said in the recall announcement.

Earlier this year, frozen Nestle meals and Corona Extra beer bottles were recalled for possibly containing glass.

Anyone who bought the recalled product can get a refund online.
