'Elvis' Thief Leaves Dartmouth Police All Shook Up

DARTMOUTH (CBS) – Dartmouth police are looking for helping finding a suspected thief they're calling "Elvis."

A man seen in surveillance video wearing a leather jacket with an Elvis Presley-like sneer on his face allegedly stole about $400 worth of merchandise from the Sears in Dartmouth Tuesday.

Police say they chased him to the Rhode Island state line before he got away.

"At the time of the incident, "Elvis" was operating a black Ford Taurus with Massachusetts plates," police said on their Facebook page.

"Come on peeps, lets help "Elvis" get his "Jailhouse Rock" on!"

Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at (508) 910-1755 or the anonymous tip line at (508) 997-9900.
