EF-0 Tornado Confirmed in Worcester

The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-0 tornado did in fact touch down last night in the city of Worcester.  Barry Burbank's blog shows detailed information on the setup and radar - you can read it by clicking here.  Thankfully, no one was injured during this tornado touchdown, although many cars were damaged.  A detailed report from the National Weather Service can be found here.

While I'm not expecting any severe thunderstorms today, there will be "typical" pop-up thunderstorms...mainly south of the MA Pike today, with the biggest risk in Bristol & Plymouth counties from early afternoon into the early evening. Don't cancel your outdoors plans, but have a backup plan in mind to seek shelter indoors should a storm head your way.
