Keller @ Large: Ed Davis Talks 'Extremely Troubling' ISIS Developments

BOSTON (CBS) -- The recent attacks in Paris that killed more than 100 people show an "extremely troubling" development in ISIS' strategy, WBZ security analyst Ed Davis says.

The former Boston police commissioner sat down with WBZ political analyst Jon Keller to discuss the Paris attacks and the threat at home.

He said that ISIS seems to be deviating from its past template of encouraging home-grown terrorism.

"It was a successful process for them, but they've moved beyond that now," Davis said. "They've shown they can operationalize and actually run extra-territorial operations outside Syria and Iraq, and that is extremely troubling."

Despite the worrisome developments, Davis says Americans shouldn't change their holiday plans, but should be vigilant.

"The bottom line is be aware, don't let people frighten you, but be aware of your surroundings," Davis said.

Keller and Davis also talked about the controversy surrounding Syrian refugees.

You can listen to Keller At Large on WBZ News Radio every weekday at 7:55 a.m. You can also watch Jon on WBZ-TV News.
