Easton Teen Plays Guitar On Stage With U2

BOSTON (CBS) – An Easton teenager's dream came true when he got pulled up on stage to play with U2 at the Garden last weekend.

"It was crazy," 13-year-old Brian Hartman says. "It was like something that would happen in my dreams. I always dream about going on stage playing with my favorite band it's just insane."

Brian was sitting in the front row at the U2 concert with his family Saturday night. He was holding a sign which read, "I play guitar", that's when Bono chose him.

"He came around and throughout the set we kept making eye contact, I kept flashing up the sign so I thought I had a pretty good chance," Brian said.

Brian went on stage, and played "Angel of Harlem" on Bono's guitar. He says he really wasn't that nervous.

"I was so focused on the band you couldn't really notice any of the people," he says.

Brian got to keep the guitar.
