East Boston Man's Wheelchair Stolen From Porch

EAST BOSTON (CBS) -- An East Boston man's wheelchair was stolen from the front porch of his home Saturday morning.

Thomas Clark told WBZ-TV's Jim Smith he noticed his wheelchair was gone when he went out to pick up his mail.

Clark is diagnosed with diabetes and uses a wheelchair to get around.

He uses a walker when he is at home, but is unable to leave the house without the wheelchair.

The thieves also stole a bicycle on the porch.

Clark told WBZ that he's not looking to cause trouble for the thieves, he just wants his wheelchair back.

"Just bring it back put it back on my porch, leave it there, knock on the door, say I'm sorry, come in we can have a cup of coffee or something, no hard feelings," Clark said.
