East Boston Man's Stolen Wheelchair Replaced

BOSTON (CBS) – An East Boston man who had his wheelchair stolen now has a new one.

Tom Clark's wheelchair was stolen right from his front porch Saturday morning. After WBZ-TV's report aired Sunday night, more than a dozen offers for chairs came in.

On Monday, East Boston Savings Bank dropped off a new chair.

"Thank you to everybody who reached out to me and my family," Clark said. "It hurts that we were violated. But it's a happy emotion right now that I'm feeling."

A bicycle belonging to Tom's son was also stolen, but he's glad to have a new wheelchair.
