One Killed In East Boston Rollover Crash

EAST BOSTON (CBS) -- One person was killed in a rollover crash on Route 1-A North late Monday night.

Investigators said the crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

A silver vehicle was left upside-down in the middle of the road with its roof crushed, side dented, and windows broken.

Route 1-A was shut down for several hours as police reconstructed the crash, but it was reopened Tuesday morning.

Police have not yet released any information about the victim's name, age, or gender.

The cause of the crash was not yet known.
