Early-Morning Fire Rips Through Multi-Family Home In Milton

MILTON (CBS) – Several people are homeless after a three-alarm fire tore through a Milton home early Monday morning.

Firefighters responded to the blaze at 54 Central Ave. shortly before 3 a.m., Milton Fire officials reported.

Crews arrived to find heavy fire on all three floors in the back of the multi-family home.

Firefighters knocked down the blaze in about an hour.

Fire officials told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 that all the residents got out of the house safely thanks to working smoke detectors.

Three firefighters were treated for minor injuries.

No information was available on the cause of the fire.
