Drug Materials Found In UNH Residence Hall Fire

DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — Police say a fire at a University of New Hampshire residence hall involved materials consistent with a manufacturing effort involving marijuana, solvents and glassware.

Police Chief Paul Dean said criminal charges have not been filed in the fire, which happened Sunday night. But he said the incident is under investigation and the student involved no longer lives on campus.

Police received a report of an extinguished fire in Richardson Hall. There were no reports of injuries.
