Driver Seriously Hurt In Crash On Route 3 In Rockland
ROCKLAND (CBS) – A driver was seriously injured on Route 3 when his car smashed into the back of a tractor-trailer and through a center median guardrail.
The accident happened about noon on Route 3 northbound, north of Exit 14.
The driver was rushed to the hospital.
The tractor-trailer driver was not hurt.
Traffic was backed up on Route 3 while the left lane was closed and emergency workers responded.
