Driver Killed When Car Hits Amesbury Condo Complex

AMESBURY (CBS) – A driver was killed Thursday after the car he was driving crashed into a condo complex and caught fire.

A police officer at the scene told The Daily News the driver had died. The crash occurred at around 1:15 p.m.

Police believe the car was driving down Merrimac street before it struck the building went partly through a window on its lower level. The building was evacuated.

No further information was immediately available.
