Driver In Deadly Merrimack, NH Crash Faces OUI Charge

MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire State Police say a New Hampshire driver has been arrested for drunken driving in a three-vehicle crash that killed his passenger.

Police say 37-year-old Nghia Huynh of Nashua was traveling south on Everett Turnpike Friday evening when he lost control, hit the center median and rolled over into the northbound lane. An oncoming vehicle hit the car and then was struck by another vehicle.

Police say the crash killed a young male passenger in Huynh's car. His name has not been released.

Huynh and another driver were taken to the hospital.

Police say Huynh has been charged with felony aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash. It was not immediately known if Huynh is being represented by a lawyer.
