Driver Hurt After School Bus Crash In Lakeville

LAKEVILLE (CBS) – Four elementary school students were on a bus that crashed Thursday afternoon.

The bus driver suffered minor injuries when the bus went off Pickens Street and struck a tree. The driver, who had to be extricated, said the bus hit some water and hydroplaned.

The students from Assawompset Elementary School were evaluated by EMTs and released to their parents.

The accident is under investigation by Lakeville Police.
