DraftKings Faces Legal Review From Massachusetts Attorney General

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Massachusetts Attorney General's Office is looking into whether the Boston-based DraftKings fantasy sports website is legal.

Ads for the website are everywhere as football season gets underway. Attorney General Maura Healey says this is a new industry and it's something she's reviewing.

There's a call on Capitol Hill for a House Commerce Committee hearing on the legality of fantasy sports.

An estimated 60 million people will take part this year.

DraftKings maintains it hosts a game of skill and is legal under U.S. and Canadian law, though it bars participation from residents of Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana and Washington because of local regulations.
