Dorchester Man Arrested In Connection With Downtown Crossing Shooting

BOSTON (CBS) – Police have arrested a 19-year-old Dorchester man in connection with a daytime shooting in Downtown Crossing last month.

Carlos Eloy Thomas was taken into custody in the area of Park Street and Sturtevant Street in Dorchester without incident Thursday morning.

On Friday, May 21, at about 1:45 p.m., an adult male was shot in the leg in the area of 1 Franklin Street.

Thomas is charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.
