Man Jumps To Safety From Burning Dorchester Home

BOSTON (CBS) – A man jumped to safety from a burning Dorchester home Friday morning.

Flames broke out on Gaston Street just before 8 a.m.

The man was the only one home at the time.

He was taken to an area hospital after jumping from an upper floor.

Two adults and three children were displaced following the fire.

Firefighters estimate the flames caused about $300,000 in damage.
