Human Remains Found Underneath Dorchester Apartment Porch
BOSTON (CBS) – Police are investigating after human remains were found underneath a porch at Dorchester apartment. The discovery was reported Tuesday around 11:15 a.m.
A property manager on Fuller Street called police to report finding a large bone.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene to investigate.
"It's sad. Obviously, I don't know the circumstances of what happened here," said Evandro Carvalhno. "It's just traumatizing, really. So I feel for all of us, all of the neighbors."
Carvalhno, a former State Representative, lives on Fuller Street with his family.
"Hopefully they get to the bottom of it. I don't know if it's a homicide, it could be any number of things," he said.
It's unclear how long the remains were there.
