The country music star is scheduled to perform at the concert venue in the Berkshires on June 17.

Parton has had 25 songs reach No. 1 on the Billboard Country charts during her long career. She's also received seven Grammy Awards, 10 Country Music Association Awards and many others. Tickets for her show will go on sale April 4.

Tanglewood is the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Its popular artist lineup this summer also includes Earth, Wind & Fire, Jackson Browne, Bob Dylan, James Taylor and The B-52s.

Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Swing Orchestra will close the season on Sept. 3.
