WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Anchor Diane Stern Retires After Decades On Air
BOSTON (CBS) – Diane Stern, a staple in Boston news, is signing off following 33 years on the airwaves of WBZ NewsRadio 1030.
The news anchor retired on Tuesday after decades bringing the news to listeners in New England.

Stern joined WBZ NewsRadio 1030 in 1983 as anchor, but she worked at several stations in Massachusetts in the years prior to her arrival.
A Marblehead High School and Boston University graduate, Stern has won several Associated Press awards throughout her storied career.
Stern was a finalist in the New York Radio Festival Awards and won Best Newscaster in the March of Dimes Achievement in Radio Awards in 2000.
