Man Falls Off Raft, Struck 'Multiple Times' By Propeller In Dennis

DENNIS (CBS) – A man was seriously injured on the Fourth of July when he fell off a raft and was hit multiple times by a propeller on the waters of Dennis.

It happened Sunday around 6:15 p.m. near Riverside Way.

The 49-year-old man's friend helped him back to shore and called 911.

A MedFlight helicopter was called, but because of the delayed arrival time the victim wasrushed to Cape Cod Hospital by ambulance.

The man's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
