Rep. Denny Ruprecht, NH's Youngest Lawmaker, Among DNC Keynote Speakers

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire's youngest state lawmaker will be featured in the Democratic National Convention's keynote address.

State Rep. Denny Ruprecht, of Landaff, is among 17 "rising stars" from across the country who will speak Tuesday night under the theme "Leadership Matters."

Ruprecht, a student at Plymouth State University, was elected to the House in 2018 at age 19. He said on Twitter that he will highlight the contrast between the "constant chaos" delivered by President Donald Trump and the "steady direction" offered by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

The convention takes place over four nights starting Monday.
