Boston Ranked Highly Among 'Most Future-Ready Cities'

BOSTON (CBS) – Dell is out with a new ranking looking at which American cities are primed for future growth, and Boston comes in near the top.

The city is ranked No. 4 on the "Most Future-Ready Cities" list.

"We're very confident these cities will grow faster in the next five to ten years than most other cities," one economist tells Dell.

The cities were measured on their commerce, infrastructure and human capital.

Boston earned high marks in the human capital category, especially for learning.

The most future-ready city in the country is San Jose, followed by San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Boston and Austin.
