Patriots Employees Jastremski, McNally Reinstated By NFL

FOXBORO (CBS) – The NFL has officially reinstated the two Patriots equipment employees who were at the center of the never-ending saga known as DeflateGate.

John Jastremski and Jim McNally, Patriots employees who gained national attention after investigator Ted Wells said their text messages proved the guilt of quarterback Tom Brady, are now cleared to return to work.

"Last week, the New England Patriots requested the reinstatement of both John Jastremski and Jim McNally. The Patriots have satisfied the league's requirements for reinstatement and the league has granted permission for the employees to return," the NFL said in a statement Wednesday night.

It had been previously reported that Jastremski and McNally would be allowed to return to work, but in roles that do not involve the preparation of game balls.
