Waltham Animal Control Rescues Deer Stuck In Hammock

BELMONT (CBS) -- Waltham Animal Control posted a video on their Facebook page Thursday of a deer that was rescued after it had gotten stuck in a hammock.

Waltham and Arlington Animal Control officers cut the buck loose in a Belmont back yard.

Myself and Katie, from Arlington Animal control, helped cut this buck loose in Belmont. Please remember to bring in hammocks and netting when not using them! Many animals end up getting tangled and injured in them.

The officers reminded users to take their hammocks down when they are not being used, as animals can easily get stuck in them.
