Dedham EMTs Deliver Baby Boy On Route 128

DEDHAM (CBS) – Dedham EMTs delivered a baby boy early Saturday morning on Route 128.

Firefighters and EMTs found the expecting mom pulled over near Route 109 around 4:40 a.m.

They loaded her in an ambulance and took off for the hospital.

About five minutes down the road, the ambulance pulled over, and crews delivered the baby.

Mom and baby, who were not identified, were transported to Brigham and Women's hospital.

The Dedham Fire Department said both appeared healthy upon arrival at the hospital.

Less than 24 hours earlier, a State Trooper delivered a baby on a sidewalk just a few hundred yards from Mass. General Hospital.
