Dedham Boy Places 5th At Augusta National Golf Competition

DEDHAM (CBS) -- A local 11-year-old put up some impressive results in a competition at a world-famous golf course this weekend.

Joey Lenane, of Dedham, was one of 40 boys and 40 girls who competed in the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship at the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia.

With only two years of golfing experience under his belt, Lenane finished in fifth place in his age group.

But he's had plenty of time to practice – the family room at his home has been turned into a golf practice area with a turf green and net, and a hole in the floor for putts.
