Dead And Company To Play Two Fenway Park Shows

BOSTON (CBS) -- A supergroup made up of singer and guitarist John Mayer and members of The Grateful Dead will play two concerts at Fenway Park this summer.

Dead & Company, which includes Mayer, Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and Bob Weir, Allman Brothers Band bassist Oteil Burbridge, and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, will end their summer tour in Boston with one set on Friday, July 15 and another on Saturday, July 16. The band's repertoire draws from The Grateful Dead's discography.

Tickets for the concerts will go on sale Thursday, February 18 at 10 a.m. at RedSox.com/DeadandCompany.

The group played three sold-out concerts at New York City's Madison Square Garden last October.

This is the fourth Fenway Park concert announced for summer 2016; James Taylor will play August 3, Pearl Jam will play August 5 and 7, and Billy Joel will play August 18.
