David Ortiz Back In Red Sox Lineup Vs. Orioles

BOSTON (CBS) -- After getting the day off on Sunday to nurse a sore foot, David Ortiz is back in the Boston lineup Monday afternoon in Baltimore.

Ortiz will hit cleanup as the Red Sox open a three-game set with the Orioles at Camden Yards. He was a late scratch from Sunday's lineup with a sore left foot, after being hit by a pitch on the top of the foot on Saturday.

X-Rays were negative on Ortiz's foot, but manager John Farrell didn't want to take any chances on Sunday. Now he'll have his slugger back as the Sox battle the Orioles, who trail them by just a game in the American League East standings.
