Dave Richard: UMass Alum Tajae Sharpe A Potential Fantasy Sleeper

BOSTON (CBS) -- Everyone loves a good sleeper pick. Some much, much more than others, as we learned Thursday morning on Toucher & Rich.

CBS Sports Fantasy Football expert Dave Richard has one potential sleeper that 98.5 The Sports Hub listeners may be familiar with: Tennessee Titans recevier Tajae Sharpe.

"I think he's their best wide receiver," Richard said of the former UMass Minuteman. "They have a pretty good quarterback in Marcus Mariota, and they're not going to be able to run the ball 50 times a game -- that defense they have stinks. They're going to have to throw the ball and Sharpe was a football magnet at UMass and caught a ton of passes. I think that's going to keep going."

Sharpe is playing with the starters this preseason, and through two games has caught all eight passes that have gone his way for 103 yards.

"He is somebody I'm getting in every one of my drafts late," said Richard. "I think he has a shot at 800 yards and six touchdowns, but it wouldn't surprise me if he had 1,000 yards in his rookie year."

Richard also offered his advice on drafting a quarterback this year (hint: it's best to be patient), and took questions from callers. Listen to the full segment below:

Dave Richard will join Toucher & Rich each week throughout the football season, and be sure to tune in to 98.5 The Sports Hub's Fantasy Football Show with Mike Lockhart and Tucker Silva every Sunday morning at 8am for the latest Fantasy advice on gamedays.
