Boucher was found stabbed to death inside her home on Sept. 2 after being stabbed multiple times. Flowers were left in memory of Boucher at the home. One neighbor told WBZ-TV she will be missed.

"It makes no sense," the neighbor said. "We do know that there were police activity here the week before, so again this is just wondering aloud, was there some kind of other offense that happened that caused either the Sheriff's Department whoever came by to check in on him to question him and that set the whole thing in motion?"

On Tuesday, Jo-Anne's ex-husband Daniel Boucher and the couple's son Sam to the murder scene.

"We're both shocked," Daniel said. "Like I said earlier, we didn't always see eye to eye but Sam loved his mom and she loved him."

"She was one of the nicest people on God's green earth, that's all I can really say," said Sam. "This is still a major shock to me I never expected it, like not the neighbors not the family, nobody."

Moore was convicted of aggravated felonious sexual assault on a victim under 13 years in 1998. He has several criminal offenses on his record.

Following his arrest, Moore is expected to be arraigned Monday.
