SUV Slams Into Danvers Hotel

DANVERS (CBS) – A Danvers hotel was damaged Wednesday morning after an SUV slammed into the side of the building.

At around 11 a.m. the crash was reported at 275 Independent Way at the Courtyard Marriott.

The driver was transported to Beverly Hospital with minor injuries.

Though the entire section of the hotel was evacuated following the crash, no other injuries were reported.

The building inspector deemed the back of the property "structurally compromised."

Police have not yet said what caused the SUV to crash into the building.
