Child Dies After Being Pulled From Danvers Pool

DANVERS (CBS) – A young Danvers boy has died after being pulled from his family's swimming pool Thursday night.

Two-year-old Griffin Lamar was found in an in-ground pool on Drury Lane just before 8 p.m. during a small family gathering.

Family members pulled the child from the pool and began performing CPR.

He was rushed to Beverly Hospital and then taken by MedFlight to Boston, but did not survive.

Danvers Police and the Essex District Attorney's office are investigating the boy's drowning.
