Daily Talker: When Participation Isn't Enough

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison is making headlines, not for his football skills but his parenting style.

This weekend he posted on social media that he was returning two trophies his kids received for participating in an athletic event saying in part, "I'm not about to raise two boys to be men by making them believe that they are entitled to something just because they tried their best...cause sometimes your best is not enough, and that should drive you to want to do better."

He said while he is very proud of his boys, the trophies were being given back until they earned a real trophy.

Do you agree with Harrison? Should kids get trophies just for showing up?
