Daily Talker: What Should Snow Surplus Be Spent On?

Looks like we could be in for a flurry of spending thanks to last year's brutal winter. According to the Globe, because we got a break from Mother Nature this winter the city has an estimated $8 million surplus for plows and salt. So, what happens with that money? It will reportedly be used to develop a new playground near Western Avenue in Allston, pay for renovations at Paul Revere Mall in the North End and fix walking paths in Franklin Park. The Globe says Mayor Marty Walsh seemed hesitant to talk about the extra money for fear it could trigger a spring blizzard. What do you think the money should be used for?
