Daily Talker: Trailblazing Tobacco Ban?

Officials in the Central Massachusetts town of Westminster could be the nation's first community to ban all sales of tobacco products. Under the initiative posted on the town's website yesterday, sales of products containing tobacco or nicotine, including cigarettes, chewing tobacco, and even electronic cigarettes, would be prohibited. Officials say the goal is to improve health, especially among young people. Currently, smoking is banned in all restaurants and bars in the state and some communities have banned smoking in public parks. What do you think of this proposal? Would you want smoking banned where you live?
