Daily Talker: Too PC For Comedy?

Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is making headlines today for comments about the state of comedy in 2015---more specifically---on college campuses.

In a radio interview last week, Seinfeld says he does not perform on college campuses because audiences have become too politically correct. He believes people are too easily offended these days.

"To me it's anti-comedy. It's more about PC-nonsense."

He summed up his stance through a story about his 14-year-old daughter.

"My wife says to my daughter, 'In the next couple of years, I think you'll want to be hanging around the city more on weekends, so you can see boys.' You know what my daughter says? 'That's sexist.' "

"They just want to use these words. 'That's racist. That's sexist. That's prejudiced.' They don't even know what they're talking about."

What do you think?

Are audiences becoming too P.C. for comedy?  Are people too easily offended?
