Daily Talker: Postponing Halloween

There is mixed reaction today in the town of Westminster. Officials there have postponed the town's annual Halloween festivities, including trick-or-treating, due to concerns over the EEE virus. Officials say they could take no chances with a town-sponsored event being held when mosquitoes are most active. The virus killed a horse there two weeks ago. Trick-or-treating will be held mid day Saturday instead of Friday night, when mosquitoes are most active. All evening and night youth sports events and practices have also been rescheduled.
