Daily Talker: Pedestrians Only

Boston could be considered a walking city. Especially in the summer when residents and tourists pack the sidewalks. What if certain streets became pedestrian-only walkways? We're talking busy streets like Newbury Street in the Back Bay and Hanover Street in the North End. One local man sent a tweet asking the city if they would consider that. And the answer, "We're actively looking into this at several locations around the city. Stay tuned for info later this summer." Mayor Marty Walsh confirmed to WBZ that the idea is being discussed. What do you think? Do you like the idea of certain streets becoming pedestrian-only?
