Daily Talker: Oscars and Platforms

There was no shortage of memorable moments at last night's Academy Awards.

Today, many people are talking about the winners, losers, and performers.  But many are also talking about the moments where actors, actresses, and others used their moment in the spotlight to talk about issues that are important to them.

Patricia Arquette, Oscar winner for best supporting actress for her role in "Boyhood", used her time at the podium to push for wage equality and championed women's rights.

Alejandro González Iñárritu, who won best director for "Birdman", used his moment to push for immigration reform.

What do you think about stars using the Oscars to push their platforms?
