Daily Talker: Jobless Grad Suing Her Law School

A law school graduate is taking her alma mater to court.  Anna Alaburda, 37, is suing Thomas Jefferson School of Law because she hasn't been able to find a job. She claims the school inflated its graduate employment data to lure students to enroll. Alaburda graduated in 2008 and says she has $170,000 in student debt. She filed her lawsuit in 2011, claiming she would not have enrolled in the school had she known the statistics were misleading. Alaburda is not the first law school grad to sue their school, but her case is the first one to go to trial. Judges in other states have ruled that law students opted for law school at their own peril, and should have known that employment as an attorney was not guaranteed. What do you think?
