Daily Talker: Globe Editors And Reporters Deliver Newspapers

Boston Globe editors and reporters gave up part of their weekend to make sure you got your Sunday newspaper. Dozens of employees volunteered to deliver newspapers from midnight into the early morning hours on Sunday. Other employees are manning the phones. Taking calls from frustrated customers who haven't seen their paper in days. The problems started when a new company took over deliveries. According to the Globe, despite this weekend's efforts, up to 4,000 newspapers did not reach their destinations. The president and chief operating officer of the company now running deliveries told the Globe, it could be four to six months before things get back to the way they were before the change. We want to know, would you pitch in for your company like this?
