Daily Talker: Finding The Real Boston Accent

BOSTON (CBS) - We've all heard it. The Boston accent. One woman's whole life is about finding people who really talk the talk.

When a movie director needs someone with a "real" Boston accent, they call casting agent Angela Peri.

She's known for her work with Mark Wahlberg's movies "Ted" and "The Fighter."

But, Peri didn't start out as a casting agent. She wanted to be an actor. Ironically, she couldn't find work because of her accent.

She says people should be proud of having a strong accent. And that it's helped her a great deal.

Are you proud of your Boston accent? Or do you try to hide it? And what do you think about the actors who do the Boston accent in movies? Do they do it justice?
