Daily Talker: Beloved Garden In Jeopardy?

There is a fight to save a cherished garden at Boston Children's hospital.  The Prouty Garden has been a favorite spot for patients and family members since it opened in 1956.  Many go to the garden for peace and solace.

But hospital administrators say they are in need of more space to continue their mission of saving the lives of children.  They want to build an 11-story building worth more than $1.2 billion.

The city has given approval for the project but supporters of the garden are still trying to save it.  There is a petition on Change.org.  There is also a website, Facebook, and Twitter account dedicated to preserving Prouty Garden.

What do you think?

Should the garden be preserved or should the hospital be allowed to expand its facilities to further help children?
