Daily Talker: Are You Concerned About Marathon Security?

Boston Police are planning changes to their security plan after a scare at the Finish Line on Tuesday evening, hours after remembrance services marking one year since the Marathon bombings.

Kevin Edson told police he had a rice cooker in his backpack. Officers told him to place it on the ground, the area was evacuated, and the backpack was detonated.

Edson is facing charges that include making a false bomb threat. His lawyers and family say he has a history of mental illness, and is undergoing a mental evaluation.

"I don't want everybody's anxiety to be put up and that's what troubles me," said Boston Police Commissioner William Evans. "We are going increase visibility over the next couple of days because of this incident."

With the security scare at the Finish Line this week and memories of last year, are you concerned about security at the Marathon? Do you feel safe? Do you still plan to go with your family? Share your comments below, and watch for them on WBZ News in the Morning from 4:30 to 7:00 a.m.
