Daily Talker: A Mother's Tough Love

A mother's apology for her two daughters' behavior at a theater that ruined another family's movie outing has gone viral and is leading to an outpouring of support.

Kyesha Smith Wood of McCalla, Alabama, dropped off her son and two daughters at the movies last Friday to see "Cinderella".

"My son later told me, much to my humiliation and embarrassment, that my girls were rude and obnoxious during the movie", Wood says.  The girls were talking loud and kicking a woman's chair in front of them.

That woman, Rebecca Boyd, approached the girls after the movie and told them that her husband had been laid off and this was the last movie she would be able to take her daughter to for a while.

When Wood found out, she took to Facebook to write an apology:

The comments were overwhelmingly positive, commending Wood for holding her children responsible for their actions.

The post did eventually make it to Boyd. "I was very touched that Kyesha was not offended that I approached her girls," Boyd says. "Her kind letter brought tears to my eyes."

The story has gone viral.  Some have even made a few made job offers for Boyd's husband.
